This is a rare 38mm oversized stainless steel chronograph with a triple-color scale dial, equipped with the renowned Venus Cal.175 movement, manufactured in the 1940s by Tavannes. Tavannes watches are often seen in 36mm sizes, making this 38mm oversized case quite distinctive and commanding. The beautifully aged triple-color scale dial adds a touch of vintage charm and showcases the wonderful taste of the era. It houses the esteemed Venus Cal.175 movement, which has been adopted by many brands including Breitling. Taban has implemented its own enhancements such as Côtes de Genève finishing, perlage, and the use of a swan-neck regulator, making it a magnificent movement unique to Tavannes.
