1930s Gallet Val-69 Baby Chronograph Rare Black Gilt Dial with Pink Letter in 26mm Steel

Late 1930s Gallet Steel 26mm Baby Chronograph with Valjoux 69 Very rare black gilt dial with the famous Valjoux 69, one of the three major baby chronographs (Universal, Valjoux and Geneva Sport). The size is 26mm, which is particularly small among baby chronographs, but the egg pushers, which are different from the square pushers of later models, and the black gilt dial with beautiful old-fashioned pink lettering give this gem an aspect that is unique to early models. Also, while later models have a 14mm belt width, this model has a 16mm belt width, which means that there are many choices of leather belts and bracelets.
