Manufactured in the 1940s, this 'TELDA' timepiece is a rare gem with a Venus 170 movement, housed in a unique screw-back case reminiscent of a clamshell design. The case is distinctive, resembling a clamshell, and it contains the vertically arranged second type movement caliber 170, supplied to many brands by Venus. The dial features a gilt method tachymeter (purple), telemeter (yellow), and a very unusual multi-color scale dial with purple steel hands and luminous numerals. The overall preservation condition is superb, and the substantial screw-back case retains sharp edges throughout. The black gilt dial exhibits beautiful luster and vibrant colors.
