This is a rare black dial "Spielmann" ss 38mm waterproof chronograph with the famous "BOUQUIN ZURICH" Valjoux 22, manufactured in the 1940s. It has a screw back waterproof case with a distinctive design called "Spielmann" which was used by Universal and other companies at that time. The dial is designed with a combination of rail circles, luminous Arabic indexes, and pencil hands to emphasize legibility, and the textured aging gives it a wonderful military taste. It is a gem with a great presence. It is equipped with the famous Cal.22 made by Valjoux, which was adopted by many brands including Rolex in the same period.
