1940's "Optima" with Venus 170? This is a rare "Spielmann" water proof chronograph in black and grey two-tone with Breguet index design. It has a water-resistant case with a distinctive "Spielmann" design. Most of the Spielmann chronographs are horizontal two-register chronographs equipped with the Valjoux 22 or Venus 150, but the Spielmann chronograph equipped with the vertical Venus 170 is very rare. The two-tone black and gray color with multi-scales and Breguet indexes on the condensed dial is a wonderful gem that fascinates the aspect of the times.
