1940's "Optima"? This is a rare black gilt dial water proof chronograph with Venus 170. The screw back water resistant case is 33mm but still has a great presence, and the rare black gilt dial has a condensed design with multi scales around the perimeter, leaving a beautiful luster overall. It is a hidden gem with excellent design and quality even though it is an obscure type, such as equipped with Caliber 170, a vertical two-eye type movement made by Venus, which supplied machines to many brands.
