Manufactured in the 1940s, this is a Taban ss 38mm clamshell chronograph with the famous Valjoux 22, a rare black multi-colored design. It has a rare 4-screw early type waterproof case called clamshell. The dial is a multi-colored design with brown tach & ivory telemeter on the periphery, and the black gilt dial that retains a beautiful luster has a wonderful taste with age.
