This is a 1940's Alpina SS 37mm cylinder chronograph with the famous Valjoux 22, rare black snail dial. The black dial with beautiful monotone color has a silver telemeter on the periphery and a snail tachymeter in the center, which is a wonderful design unique to the 40's. The cylinder case with round pushers, which is very rare, has a presence that only an oversize or cylinder case over 37mm can give. The cylinder case with round pushers is very rare. It is a hidden gem that is rich in design and quality even though it is an obscure type, such as equipped with the famous Val-22 that many brands such as Rolex have adopted.
