1940s Heuer Val-23 Stainless Steel 35mm Water-resistant Chronograph Black Dial "Big Eyes"

This is a rare 1940's Hoyer Val-23 ss 35mm water proof chronograph with black dial and "Big Eye" design. At first glance, it looks like a simple black dial, but the large printed Arabic numerals and the large "Big Eye" in-dial layout give it an impactful look. It is equipped with the famous Cal.23 made by Valjoux, which was also used by Rolex and Patek Philippe in the same era, and the massive screw back waterproof case is a gem with the same unique number engraved on the back cover and middle case, which shows the high quality of the Heuer of this era.
