1950s Heuer "Super Autavia " Dashboard Chronograph Mint

This is a beautiful example of a very rare Hoyer "Super Autavia" dashboard chronograph from the late 1950s. It was manufactured for use in airplane cockpits and automobile cabins. It has a simple dial with luminescent indexes, a rotating bezel, and a chronograph function, all of which are designed for visibility and functionality, and a large crown and pushers for ease of operation. It is equipped with a rare Cal.5 made by Valjoux, a famous chronograph manufacturer that supplied machines to many brands, and it has a special hack function that is not found in watches. The watch is equipped with a special hack function that is not found in wristwatches. Although there are some minor scratches and age-related changes, it is a precious gem that has maintained an excellent state of preservation with almost no signs of use.
