This is a pocket watch manufactured in the 1930s by Jaeger-LeCoultre, featuring a highly rare 8-day manual winding with a long power reserve. It is equipped with a special pocket watch movement that can sustain for up to 8 days, and the power reserve is indicated through a small window at the 6 o'clock position, displaying 8→7→6...2 with a white background and black paint, while 1 and the fully unwound state are indicated with a red background.
The unique matte white dial, reminiscent of Japanese paper, showcases a distinctive texture. It features a railroad track, dolphin numerals, and Breguet hands, combining to create a charm typical of that era. The dial exhibits a pleasing patina, showcasing a wonderful vintage taste. The special movement exclusive to the 8-day winding is covered by a base plate, and the entire mechanism is adorned with a beautifully swirled finish on the surface.
