Longines, rare early "Sei-Tacche" model, 35mm in diameter, stainless steel, water-resistant, tropical dial, circa 1943.? It is a precious early model with just after the change from the Treitacche to the Seitacche. The inclined step design is the same as the later model of the Treitacche, and the caseback is changed from 3-point type to 6-point type. Sei-tacche in later models has changed to thin-round shape in later years, so the good old fashioned early model with massive structure will be more and more difficult to obtain in the future. Although there are some minor flaws, the 6-point screw-back water-resistant case with a sharp edge on the bezel and the water-resistant case that retains the massiveness of the original case, and the textured tropical dial that retains the radium luminescence of the time are precious gems with a wonderful vintage taste. It is equipped with the famous Cal. 12.68N, one of the most famous models of Longines, with a wide variety of small seconds, central seconds and stop seconds. It comes with an archival copy (1944).
