1940s Longines Rare Wide Rectangular Waterproof Lemon Dial in Mint Condition

Longines, water-resistant, rare wide rectangular, lemon colored dial, mint condition, circa 1940s. It has an oversized (24 x 43 mm) clip-on water-resistant case, which was overwhelmingly large for a rectangular model of the time. The back cover and brimmed windshield are made of square packing, and the middle case and back cover are fixed with upper and lower clips for airtightness and water resistance. The removable clip is engraved with the same unique number as the back cover, and it is a very valuable gem that allows you to enjoy the dignified construction and overwhelming presence typical of Longines. The precious lemon-colored dial still retains its original color and print, and the massive, oversized, rectangular, water-resistant case is in excellent condition, retaining its original shape and volume with no signs of polishing.
