A Movado "Calendograph" made in the 1940s, a water-resistant model with the popular triple calendar and with the rare silver three-tone dial. This is one of the most iconic Movado models, with its well-balanced calendar display of a double window at 3 and 9 o'clock; a pointer date; a fast forward function; and a screw-back water-resistant and dustproof case; making this model of outstanding design, functionality, and practicality. The silver two-tone dial, which retains the original radium luminescence, has a beautiful oil slick on the front, and the screw-back waterproof case with dust proofing is a rare aspect of a watch that has retained its original case form. The dial is a rare three-tone design with mirrored circles on the two-tone dial.
