Universal Geneve, "Compax", chronograph, stainless steel, water-resistant, rare lemon-colored dial, circa 1940s.? The unique lemon-coloured dial, one of the few of its kind at Universal, features a unique design with black-rimmed silver Arabic numerals and baton hands, and is a rare example of a three-register chronograph with a mechanical look and a wonderful colour. The water-resistant, dustproof screwback case is massive, and the 38mm size of the case also gives the watch an appealing presence: it is equipped with the famous Universal Cal. 285, which was used in many chronographs from the 1930s to the 1960s.
