Universal,?"Spillmann",? 38mm dial size, water-resistant chronograph, a rare 18 karat yellow gold model, circa 1940s. Spillmann is a distinctive case design with screw-caseback that many brands adopted in the 1940s. Most of the Spillmann cases are made of stainless steel for practical use, and this is a very rare piece made of 18k yellow gold, which is rarely seen in other brands or even in Universal, which produced many chronographs. It is powered with the famous Cal.285, which was used in many chronographs during the 1930s and 1960s.
