A late 1930s Universal, 35mm stainless steel, with the popular Calatrava chronograph and its rare triple scale dial with bar-designed indices. Although the wide flat bezel, Calatrava case is not water-resistant, it is massive. The textured and aged triple scale dial with its bar indexes and blued steel sword hands is a wonderful example of classical taste. It is equipped with the famous Cal. 285, a typical Universal watch that was used in many chronographs through around 1930s to 1960s. It comes with a vintage strap that matches the watch itself perfectly.

Case: Some minor scratches and ageing, but it still retains its original form.
The dial: some ageing is evident, but it has an attractive texture.
Movement: no winding or chronofunctions, no problems. Accuracy is around 50 seconds per day.
