1940s V&C 18K Yellow Gold Chronograph Tear Drop Design

This is a rare Vacheron Constan 18KYG two register chronograph teardrop design from the 1940s. With its massive 18KYG teardrop case and elaborate silver two-tone dial with upright numbers and dot indexes, this understated yet high-quality construction is a unique Vacheron masterpiece that does not make too much of a statement. It is equipped with the chronograph caliber C.434, which is based on the famous Valjoux 23 and has been improved in-house, and is beautifully finished in every detail. The case design, size, and dial design of this BACHERON chronograph are well balanced.
