Manufactured in the late 1930s, Universal Geneve SS 55mm is an extremely rare pocket watch with a black gloss dial. The precious black gilt dial features a unique design characteristic of the 1930s, combining a tachymeter and minute track on the outer periphery through an underlying process, along with upraised bullet indices and leaf hands. The 55mm enbasteel case with a side 3-step design showcases the weighty elegance typical of chronograph-equipped timepieces. It is equipped with the rare Cal.292, later also featured in the Big Pilot's Watch. This is a valuable timepiece from the era of seamless transition from Universal Watch to Universal Geneve, boasting exceptional design and craftsmanship.
