This is a 1930's Taban "Hermeto". The case base is made entirely of 900 silver and the outer case has a lacquer coating on it, an orientalistic art deco design. Although small in size, it is a wonderful piece of art that combines the craftsmanship and practicality of the time. Incidentally, "TABAES" is also known as a famous family that supplied machines to more than half of the famous brands at that time, such as Dunhill Oil Lighter WATCH and Cartier.
