Manufactured in the early 1940s, this is a rare 34mm Universal 'Compax' SS (stainless steel) waterproof watch with a three-register chronograph and a two-tone dial. It features the initial type screw-back waterproof case with big pushers, and it is equipped with the rare Caliber 281 three-register chronograph movement for its time. The dial has a silver base with a white circle, creating a distinctive two-tone color scheme. This watch, encased in a 34mm screw-back waterproof case, offers a unique sense of weight and compactness that is characteristic of three-register chronograph timepieces. It also showcases a wonderful vintage aesthetic with its well-aged patina.
