Universal, "Compur", Cal.287 powered, oversized 37mm dial size, chronograph, rare dial with big luminous roman indexes, stainless steel, circa early 1940s. This is a rare Big Luminous Roman dial among the rare Roman indexes of Universal, which is often seen with Arabic indexes. Big Roman designs with printed specifications are also rare, but Big Roman dials with luminous paint are even more rare and scarce. The 37mm oversized case and the good aging texture of the luminous dial give it an overwhelming presence, and it is a very valuable gem that also has a wonderful appearance in mint condition. It is equipped with a large in-house chronograph movement Cal.287.
