IWC, "Ingenieur SL", Ref. 5215, pocketwatch, gray dial, mint condition, circa 1980s. This is a beautiful example of a very rare pocket watch, the "Ingenieur", produced in very small quantity between 1982 and 1996. The soft-iron inner case and dial make it resistant to magnetic fields up to 40,000 A/M, and the screw back case makes it water-resistant to 3 ATM. It is said that only 200 pieces were made and it is a rare piece that is rarely distributed not only in Japan but also overseas. The beautifully finished Cal.9520 is equipped with 5-posture adjustment and earthquake-proof device, making it a very valuable piece of pocket watch with practicality and design just like a wristwatch. The gray dial with a grid design, which is common to the Ingenieur watches of the same age, is free of any noticeable flaws or stains. The double-sided screw-back case, which is a distinctive design that has been continued from the Ingeniuer Jumbo, retains its original case shape.
