This is a beautiful example of the very rare "Square Cosmic" 18k yellow gold model manufactured by Omega in the early 1950s. It is equipped with a late model Cal.381 movement with triple calendar moonphase function. It has a square case, which is very rare for the Cosmic, which is often seen in round cases. The case is 32mm in diameter, but the square case and fancy lug design gives it an overwhelming presence, and the square dial with triple calendar and moon phases gives it a wonderful vintage taste. The case with its distinctive stepped design still retains its original shape, and the silver dial with its fine upriding number is in excellent condition with no visible scratches or stains.
