Omega, Cal. 33.3CHRO, stainless steel, 38mm in diameter case, water-resistant, chronograph, made early 1940s. A very rare early big-pusher model with a bull's eye design dial. The water-resistant case of the early model with big pushers is very rare feature among water-resistant cases. The dial is a multi-scale design that includes a tachymeter scale in white, pulse meter in red and telemeter scale in white, and the pink bulls eye dial, which is rarely seen in the wide range of dial variations of the 33.3 chronograph, is a wonderfully colored gem. In recent years, Omega has gained a reputation for its colouring, elaborate dial design and oversized case, which are not seen in many of the more famous brands of its era, such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Longines and Universal.
