1942 Omega Rare "CHRONOMETRE" 1st Ref.2254 Black Gilt Dial Arch-Logo Design

This is a very rare "Chronometer" 1st model with the Omega masterpiece 30mm caliber manufactured in 1942 Ref.2254. It is equipped with Cal.30T2SC, which is based on the 30mm caliber and has been modified to chronometer specifications, including round and square hole wheels. There are "2254" with screw back and center seconds specification and "2192" with snap back and small seconds specification. This model is Ref. 2254 with screw back with cylinder design and massive feeling, and step lugs, which attracts a sense of luxury. The dial is a black gilt dial, which is very rare in most chronometers. The arch notation of "CHRONOMETRE" shows the aspect of the era, and the black radium dial that changed to brown with the passage of time shows the wonderful vintage taste, which is very valuable gem historically.
