This is a beautiful Wittner "Skin Diver" Ref.4000 SS 38mm water-resistant model made in the 1960s. The black matte dial with printed Arabic and luminescent indices, the thin screw back water-resistant case with rotating bezel, and the Cal.C11-KS1, which allows you to fast-forward the calendar by pressing down on the crown, are all part of a beautiful model by Wittner, the famous US importer of Longines. This is a practical diver's watch. The evenly textured and aged luminescent paint gives it a wonderful vintage look, while the calendar mechanism and water resistance make it a great vintage watch for everyday use.
