Excelsior Park, Cal. 4-68 in-house movement powered, stainless steel, water-resistant, chronograph, tropical dial, 37 mm diameter dial, stainless steel, circa late 1950s. It is a beauty with a gray & black two-tone dial, a massive screw back water resistant case over 37mm, and an in-house chronograph movement Cal.4-68, which was shared by Zenith and Girard-Perregaux in the same era. The dial is a gilt dial with a tachymeter by underlining, and the unique aging of the wood grain tone reminiscent of wood dials are good features of a wonderfully colored vintage watch piece.
