This is a very rare 1940's Everard split-seconds chronograph with C.1600 40mm cylinder design. In the 40s, split-seconds chronographs were limited to a few brands such as Patek Philippe and Breitling. The 40mm size cylinder case with a sense of gravity and the silver dial with a rare Roman index design are also attractive and impactful.
