This is a rare black snailed dial, Stainless Steel 32mm chronograph with unknown Venus 165 made in 1940s.
The multi-scale black dial with telemeter and snail tachymeter is a wonderful design with a sense of condensation unique to the 40's. Combined with the textured aging, it is a gem with a wonderful presence and vintage taste that exceeds the size of 32mm. It is one of the few Venus watches to be equipped with the C.165 30-minute counter.
