Rolex Oyster, "Imperial", art-deco yellow dial, rare 18 karat yellow gold, circa late 1930s.

This model is made of 18k yellow gold case, which is very rare in viceroy case where stainless steel or combination models are often seen. As with the 1st bubble back and flat back models, as well as the solid gold models, it has an elaborate 4-piece case structure consisting of the bezel, middle case, back cover and movement holder. The rare three-tone dial is decorated with yellow, mirror print and white rail track. The rare three-tone yellow dial with  mirror print and white rail track, big Arabic numbers and blued steel hands is a wonderful Art Deco design, and combined with the yellow gold case, it is a precious gem that shows off the look of the era and its wonderful colors.
