Bovet, Valjoux 84 powered, mono-rattrapante chronograph, stainless steel, ø 38 mm, very rare early type "Hermetico" model, circa late 1930s.
This is the first Ermetico case with a flat stepped bezel, different from the later inclined stepped bezel. The flat stepped bezel further enhances the dignity of the Ermetico case, and together with the black multi-scale dial with silver lettering by undercoating, it gives the watch a rugged taste reminiscent of Longines. The watch is equipped with a Valjoux Monoratrapante Chronograph Cal.84, which is considered exclusive to BOVET. It's a great piece for enthusiasts, with a massive and condensed dial design and an original movement that only an early waterproof case can provide.
