This is a 1950's Heuer Manufacture Heuer SS 35mm Water Proof Chronograph with the famous Val-23, a rare black dial with a sculpture index design. The rare gilt dial with sculptured indexes, which can be seen on other Rolexes of the same age, has an iridescent oil film on the entire surface, and together with the sculptured indexes, it is a gem with a wonderful vintage taste. The case is a screw-back waterproof case with a distinctive back cover unique to this period, and is equipped with the famous Valjoux Cal. 23, which was used by Patek Philippe, Rolex, and many other brands of the same era. The high design and quality of this prestigious Heuer chronograph has been attracting attention and appreciation along with the recent surge in the price of models from the 1960s and 1970s.
