Rare black mirror dial with bar index design, in excellent condition.
The bar index design, rarely seen on Bubble Backs and Flat Backs of the same era, is at first glance simple, yet it conveys the charm of a bygone age. The black mirror dial, produced with white lettering before the era of gilt dials, reflects the aesthetics of the period and presents a superb vintage character.
Despite its modest size, the black mirror dial retains a beautiful gloss, and the Non-Oyster case—showing no signs of thinning—provides a presence that feels larger than its dimensions.
