This is a rare tapestry dial rare and rarely seen Omega "Seamaster" Automatic with Cal.490 SS Water Proof model manufactured in the mid 1950's. The rare tapestry dial, which is rarely seen even in Omega watches, is a gem with a wonderful vintage taste. It is equipped with Cal. 490, a full revolution bidirectional winding system, which was also used in Constellation watches of the same era, and is recommended as a vintage watch for everyday use with its airtight snap-back waterproof case.
