This is a mid-1940s production Rolex Oyster Bubbleback Ref. 2940 with a matte white dial. The unique and elaborate matt white dial with applied flying numerals, wedge indexes and dotted luminescent indexes has turned beige with age, and although there are some minor scratches, the original shape of the case has not been worn out by polishing. The case is a gem with a wonderful vintage taste. It comes with an Oyster Expansion tapered bracelet (wrist size = up to 17.5cm).
