This is a mid 1940's production Rolex Oyster Bubbleback Ref. 2940 with the popular black semi-unique dial. The beautiful black mirror coating and the textured, aged original luminous indexes are in excellent taste. The two-piece case with integrated bezel and middle case, equipped with self-winding movement, is a massive structure, and despite its small size of 31mm, it is a gem with a captivating presence that only a bubble back can provide.
