This is a very rare "PP.565 Design" Water Proof Chronograph Snail Tachymeter Breguet Index Dial with Mobard's famous Cal. 90 manufactured in the late 1930s. The case design is reminiscent of Patek Philippe's Ref. 565, hence the name 565 Chronograph. The FB screw-back waterproof case with dust proof is moderately sized at 35mm but has a massive feel, and the design and construction are excellent, including push buttons of the same design as Patek Philippe's waterproof chronograph Ref. 1463, which is available in a wide range of variations. It is a rare model that is regarded as the highest peak among the many variations of Movado chronographs. The dial is a silver two-tone base with telemeter on the outer circumference, snailed tachymeter on the inner circumference, and a condensed design with embossed Breguet indexes, and it is a gem that has a great taste for aging with texture.
