This is a rare grey two-tone sector dial of the popular Longines "Tre-tacche" 30mm waterproof model manufactured in the late 1930s. The gray two-tone dial, which is rarely seen on small second watches, has a textured appearance that has changed with age. The symmetrical design of the rare center-seconds version, which is symmetrical from top to bottom, makes the beautiful sector dial stand out even more. The step design, which is also the origin of Tre-tacche, and the three-point screw-back waterproof case have a massive structure unique to Longines, and together with the sector dial, the small 30mm case size gives the watch a presence that transcends its size.
