Manufactured in the early 1940s Universal "Compax" wide fancy lug design This is a rare untouched 3-register chronograph. The wide fancy lug case with impact has a sense of weight as only a chronograph equipped watch can have, and the intricate and complex design of the dial has a sense of condensation as only a three-register chronograph can have. The high quality and well-preserved condition of the watch, combined with its small size, makes it a wonderful gem that has a presence that transcends its size. It is equipped with a Cal. 283 in-house chronograph movement with three registers, a rarity for this age. It comes with a vintage strap and a Lowe & Sons box from the Chester, England jewelry store.
