This is a rare 38mm stainless steel cylinder chronograph from the early 1940s, equipped with the renowned Omega Cal. 33.3CHRO movement. The watch features a rare two-tone, three-color scale dial. The silver dial, highlighted by blued steel hands, includes a W silver circle, a blue tachymeter, a black minute track, a red pulsation scale, and a blue snail tachymeter, all contributing to a complex and intricate design. The dial is meticulously crafted, even incorporating white enamel, which is rarely seen in Omega watches. The 38mm cylinder case houses the substantial Cal. 33.3CHRO, a large 33.3mm movement, providing a sense of solidness unique to Omega watches of this era. While there is some enamel deterioration at the 11 o'clock position on the outer edge of the dial, considering the overall dial quality, case condition, and originality, this piece offers exceptional value.
