This is a rare 18kt pink gold model of Vacheron Constantin "Helm" made in 1952. The distinctive case form, also called "helm" or "sunrise" because of its resemblance to a ship's rudder, is one of the most original and fascinating pieces in the more than 250 years of Vacheron Constantin's history. The inlaid dial has an enamel-coated surface, and the intricately beveled applied indexes, which match the rare pink gold case, give the watch a wonderful taste of luxury. The watch is equipped with a Cal. 458/3B, which is equipped with a special slow-quickening device. This is a collector's item with many accessories such as a precious original box, archives, genuine strap and buckle, etc.
