1940s Leonidas Rare Bomb Drop Watch "Cronografo A Ritorno"

This is a very rare bomb drop watch "Cronografo A Ritorno" made in 1940's. This watch was made for Italian Air Force bomber pilots during World War II. This watch was produced for Italian Air Force bomber pilots during World War II. The dial has a flight altitude scale, which is supposed to be used to measure the distance from the time of release to the point of impact of a time bomb dropped from the air. It is equipped with a special mechanism called a return chronograph, which is a gem of a military watch with a unique construction in which pressing the button coaxial with the crown starts it and pressing it again runs the chronograph seconds hand counterclockwise.
