This is an unused 18kt pink gold model with the rare "Ultra-mince" Cal.28 appliquéd Roman dial, manufactured in the mid-1940s. The Cal.28 was designed to be smaller and thinner than the 30mm calibers and sold at a higher price than the 30mm calibers as "Ultra-mince", meaning "ultra-thin" in French. The 30mm calibers were already the mainstream in the same period, and it may have been cost-related to reduce the size in the same sequence, making it a rare movement with very few units in circulation. The silver dial is of excellent design with all indexes appliquéd, and the arched Ⅲ-jumped Roman indexes are a wonderful design seen in Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin watches. The rare 18k gold and pink gold case is a gem that has a wonderful taste and is differentiated from the regular models. It is a collector's item that also comes with a very valuable original box, strap, and tailstock. The bezel width is thin and the dial is designed to be large, giving it the presence of a 37~38mm model.
