Manufactured in the 1940s, this is a beautiful example of a rare Taban & Zentra long rectangular case Art Deco silver two-tone dial. This is a rare Taban & Zentra W name watch sold for the German market. It is equipped with the Cal. 364 tonneau-shaped movement with beautiful beveling and Côtes de Genève finish that was used in the rectangular cases of the Tabin and Seema watches. The two-tone dial with baton hands combined with rare embossed appliquéd blue indexes reminiscent of Movado has a wonderful design appeal, and although the case width is slender at 20mm, it is a gem that fascinates with the presence that only a long rectangular case can provide. A Bamboo bracelet by Bonclip is included. The case back is engraved.
