This is a description of a vintage Longines watch from the early 1940s. It is a rare and valuable early model of the Sei-Take SS 35mm waterproof watch with a beautiful salmon-colored two-tone dial. This model was produced right after the switch from Toretake to Sei-Take, and it has the same sturdy construction and inclined step design as the later models of Toretake, but with a change in the back cover from a 3-point to a 6-point style. Sei-Take later changed to a round-shaped, thin model, making these early models with their sturdy construction even more difficult to find in the future. This particular watch is in excellent condition, with a sharp-edged bezel and a heavy-duty 6-point screw-back waterproof case that retains its original weight and texture, and a salmon-colored dial with clear and vivid print that showcases the vintage style. It is equipped with the famous Cal.12.68N movement, which is representative of Longines' versatile watch lineup with various complications such as small seconds, center seconds, and stop seconds.
