This is a beautiful and rare IWC watch from the mid-1940s with a unique design and a silver dial. It features the rare Caliber 70 movement, which was only produced for two years between 1945 and 1946. Compared to previous movements, the finish on this movement is simpler and it is said to have been designed for military use. The watch also has a large 35mm case with fancy lugs, and the silver dial has a minute track on the outer edge, with Roman and dot indexes laid out in a balanced design. Overall, it is a unique and impactful timepiece with a simple yet innovative design that stands out in the International collection. The watch is in excellent condition and comes with its original crocodile strap and buckle, which are collector's items.

Case: Very well preserved, with minor scratches and age spots, but with the characteristic case shaping fully intact.
