This is a beautiful 1940s Mido Multifort Extra-Flat, a rare steel & pink combination model in a large 33mm size, featuring a grey swirl dial.
Among Multifort models—where smaller 28mm cases are commonly seen—this 33mm large-size version is highly unusual. Equipped with the hand-wound Cal.1200B, it features a screw-back waterproof case whose slim construction is truly worthy of the “Extra-Flat” name.
The dial is a rare grey and silver two-tone with a spiral finish, paired with a white minute track. Even among the many dial variations found on the Multifort, this one stands out for its particularly intricate design, combining luminous 3, 6, 9, 12 numerals with dot markers. The center-seconds layout further accentuates the beauty of the design.
The pink-tone combination case pairs superbly with the grey dial, showcasing excellent quality and aesthetic appeal. Its well-preserved condition enhances the rarity of the piece even further.
Please note: the watch comes with a vintage grey strap, not the grey strap shown in the photos.
