It is a beautiful specimen of a Breitling SuperOcean Ref.2005 "Slow Motion" 60-minute counter chronograph manufactured in the early 1970s. In the early period, it was equipped with the Venus 188 movement, while in the later period, it had the Valjoux 7731 movement. Instead of a regular second hand, it features a center hand that serves as a minutes recorder hand in the chronograph function, and a small window is positioned at 6 o'clock for checking the operation of the chronograph. During the operation of the chronograph, the small window at 6 o'clock turns green, and when the chronograph is paused, it changes to a small green circle. It is called "Slow Motion" due to its unique slow movement, different from the regular chronograph center hand. It showcases originality among the diverse variations of vintage chronographs, with features such as a square index design with a square center second hand and a screw-down crown. It also retains the distinctive characteristics of the model in later years. Its excellent condition is also appealing.

Other details

Case: Minor scratches and age, but retains original shaping and volume, and serial number. The bezel, which is often deteriorated, is in excellent condition with no deterioration.

Dial: There is some age-related deterioration to the luminescence on the hands, but the dial is in very clean condition with no visible scratches or stains.

Movement: The winding, screw-in and chrono functions are good, and the accuracy is around 10 seconds per day.
