Manufactured in the 1960s, this Eberhard “Scafograf 300” is a stainless steel 43mm automatic diver’s model with a black gilt dial.

Introduced in 1959, the Scafograf series (initially with 100m and 200m water resistance) reached its pinnacle with this professional diver’s model featuring 300m water resistance. It houses the automatic Cal.266-123 movement with a date mechanism (quickset via back-and-forth motion of the hands between 8 p.m. and midnight), inside a 43mm screw-back waterproof case with a rotating bezel.

The distinctive black dial features the brand logo and model name executed in gilt technique, with the glossy black surface retaining a beautiful luster and offering an impressive aesthetic. Combining functionality with refined design, this outstanding diver’s watch exemplifies the craftsmanship of the Italian brand Eberhard, long renowned for manufacturing in-house chronographs.

Note: the bezel insert is not original, but its striking black-and-blue contrast further accentuates the impact of the design. The watch comes fitted with a JB bracelet (wrist size up to approx. 20.5cm).
